Although the application's service has been quickly restored after President Donald Trump delayed the ban, TikTok has not been able to download it from US app stores in recent times.
New information shows that TikTok has officially reappeared on Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store in the US.
Apple changed its decision after receiving a letter from US Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to Bloomberg. Previously, Mr. Trump signed a decree requesting the Department of Justice to delay the ban within 75 days. Apple has not commented on this issue.
On Google's side, TikTok has also officially reappeared on the Play Store. According to Axios news site, Google has received assurance from the US Department of Justice that restoring access to TikTok is not a violation of the law.
TikTok's future in the US remains unclear. Mr. Trump has repeatedly stated that he wants to reach a "deal", allowing TikTok to continue operating in the US, and at the same time proposed options for the US government to hold a stake in the company.
Currently, many investors and businesses have made proposals to buy a portion of TikTok, but the company has not made any move to show that they are seriously considering any offers.
