Conversely, if you eat irregularly or skip meals, the body will increase the production of stress hormones such as cortisol, a factor directly related to visceral fat accumulation.

Foods prioritized for visceral fat reduction

An effective strategy is to divide portion sizes into 3 main meals and 1-2 snacks a day. This helps control hunger, avoid overeating at one time, and keep blood sugar levels stable.

However, enough calories does not mean eating as you please. Food quality plays a decisive role. You should prioritize nutritious food sources such as lean protein (chicken breast, fish, eggs), healthy fats (seeds, olive oil, butter) and complex carbohydrates (brown rice, sweet potatoes, oats). These foods not only provide sustainable energy but also support insulin control - an important factor in visceral fat accumulation.

In addition, maintaining regular eating habits also helps improve the body's hunger and satiety signals. When eating on time and with enough nutrients, the body will "learn" how to naturally adjust energy needs, reducing the risk of overeating or eating based on emotions. Combined with physical exercise, especially strength and cardio exercises, the effectiveness of visceral fat reduction will be optimized.

The key to reducing visceral fat is not to eat as little as possible, but to eat enough calories intelligently, regularly and with balanced nutrition. This is a sustainable method, helping to improve long-term health instead of only bringing short-term results.
