Similarly, mustard greens, kale or slightly bitter green leafy vegetables also provide folate, vitamin K, vitamin C and many antioxidants, supporting overall health.

Artichoke is a plant commonly used in cuisine and herbal tea. Artichoke contains compounds that have been studied for their ability to support liver function and digestion. However, scientific evidence is still not enough to confirm that artichoke has the effect of treating or restoring liver diseases. Therefore, this should be seen as part of a balanced diet instead of a treatment method.

The important thing to understand is that no vegetable can replace the detoxification function that the liver performs itself. A healthy liver will continuously process and excrete metabolites without special detoxifying foods. Instead, limiting alcohol, maintaining a reasonable weight, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and eating a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and healthy protein sources is the foundation to help protect the liver for a long time.

Bitter-flavored vegetables bring a lot of nutritional value and can contribute to liver health thanks to their fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. But to achieve the best results, it is necessary to combine them with a scientific lifestyle and follow the doctor's treatment instructions if you have liver diseases.
