In addition, activities such as coral diving, paddleboarding... contribute to diversifying sea and island tourism products.

According to Chairman of Phu Quy Special Economic Zone People's Committee Le Hong Loi, the locality is strengthening coordination with travel businesses and transportation units to improve service quality and ensure safety for tourists.

In the long-term orientation, Phu Quy focuses on developing the marine economy associated with green tourism. One of the highlights is the high-class integrated resort project of about 50ha in Thuong Chau village.

Along with that is the direction of developing types of resorts, sea sports, cuisine and high-quality services, in order to expand the customer segment and extend the length of stay.

Currently, the entire island has 69 accommodation establishments, which are hotels, guesthouses and more than 100 homestays and boarding houses, basically meeting the needs of resorts.

The Phan Thiet - Phu Quy transport route with 5 high-speed trains operating regularly makes travel more convenient. However, some limitations in electricity, water and waste treatment are still challenges that need to be overcome soon.
