On April 7, Ca Mau province officially issued the Plan to implement the Vietnam Family Development Strategy for the period 2026 - 2030 and orientation to 2035 in the province.

The province set out many specific targets, notably striving for 100% of families to be provided with information and knowledge about cultural behavior, moral education, life skills, love and national traditions. In addition, 100% of families are propagated and educated about traditional family cultural values, selectively absorbing the quintessence of human culture and the progressive values of modern families.
All localities in the province must build communication and education models about happy families and sustainable development at the grassroots level. In particular, 100% of young men and women before marriage are equipped with knowledge and skills about marriage and family, contributing to minimizing risks and improving the quality of family life right from the initial foundation.
To achieve the set goals, Ca Mau identifies 5 groups of key tasks and solutions, including: raising social awareness about the role and value of the family; building a civilized and happy family environment; improving the effectiveness of state management of family work; mobilizing resources, promoting socialization; and developing the family economy associated with improving material and spiritual life.

Many specific models and activities continue to be maintained and replicated such as implementing the "Code of Conduct in the Family", building exemplary families "Exemplary grandparents, filial children and grandchildren", or the model "Warm and loving family meal" to strengthen the connection between members.
The implementation of the strategy is expected to create a clear change in awareness and action of all levels, sectors and the whole society, thereby improving the quality of family life, consolidating a sustainable social foundation, meeting the development requirements of Ca Mau in the new period.
