On April 2, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province said that it had requested the Provincial Electronic Information Portal to publicly post a list of production facilities that must be installed, have been installed and have not been installed with automatic and continuous environmental monitoring equipment.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province, through reviewing environmental procedures of projects, production, business, and service establishments in the area, 12 establishments have installed 19 automatic and continuous environmental monitoring systems; and at the same time, 2 establishments have not installed 2 systems as prescribed.
The public disclosure of the list aims to implement Plan No. 092/KH-UBND dated September 12, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated July 12, 2025 of the Prime Minister, focusing on urgent and drastic solutions in controlling and handling environmental pollution.
Through this activity, functional agencies strengthen supervision, information transparency, and at the same time enhance the responsibility of production facilities in complying with environmental protection regulations, contributing to limiting pollution and protecting the sustainable environment in the area.
