Ca Mau approves investment in a 27-hole golf course worth more than 1,800 billion VND

Tan Thanh golf course with a scale of 27 holes, total capital of more than 1,800 billion VND, is expected to create motivation for local tourism and service development.

On April 1, information from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province said that the Tan Thanh Golf Course Construction Investment Project will be implemented in Tan Thanh ward, with a total estimated investment of more than 1,800 billion VND (equivalent to about 70.6 million USD).

The project is oriented to build synchronously in terms of technical infrastructure and landscape, including a standard 27-hole golf course with an operating area, clubhouse, and auxiliary service items. Thereby, forming a high-quality sports-tourism complex, contributing to diversifying local tourism products.

According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the project investment not only improves land use efficiency but also creates more jobs, increases budget revenue, and meets the entertainment and health training needs of people and tourists.

The project is planned on an area of about 109.75ha. Of which, the land area for cultural - sports, water surface and infrastructure items is about 99.64ha; the remaining area includes surrounding urban traffic land and airport infrastructure planning land.

Design capacity includes a standard 27-hole golf course and auxiliary works such as service areas, technical infrastructure, internal traffic and operating items.

According to the plan, from the third quarter of 2026 to the end of the second quarter of 2028, the project will complete investment preparation procedures, investor selection, detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 and carry out procedures on environment, land, and construction. At the same time, complete compensation, site clearance, land allocation, land lease and issuance of land use right certificates.

The phase from the third quarter of 2028 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2029 will deploy the construction of technical infrastructure, green landscape, complete 27 golf courses and related items, and put the project into operation.

Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee requests the selected investor to ensure capacity, implement the project on schedule as committed and fully comply with legal regulations on investment, land, construction, environment as well as golf course business.

Notably, in the process of detailed planning, the project must consult the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to ensure flight safety, aviation protection corridors and airport security.

In addition, the investor must fully fulfill financial obligations to the State, comply with regulations on environmental protection, fire and explosion prevention, and ensure safety in construction and operation of the project. The project can only be implemented on the ground after completing all legal procedures according to regulations.
