Mr. Luan said that he is a pharmaceutical lecturer at several universities and colleges, currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Although he has never been married, he has had 3 relationships lasting many years.
Speaking of his strengths, Mr. Luan admitted to being honest, hardworking, and responsible. However, he also admitted his weaknesses of being hot-tempered and perfectionist. According to him, perfectionism sometimes becomes a pressure, making himself easily disappointed when things do not reach the "perfect" level as desired. He shared that he is over 51 years old and believes that youth comes from an optimistic lifestyle, especially the importance of health, in which diet is an important factor.
On the female side, Ms. Tuyen works as an administrative office worker for a Korean electronic technology company, currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. She said that she also belongs to the type of person who is perfectionist, lives kindly, filial and values honesty and loyalty. However, she admits that she is sometimes "a bit lazy", works based on feelings and easily gets discouraged when things do not go as desired. She has had two relationships and explained that being "single" is partly due to insensitivity: only focusing on work, big things, while her boyfriend wants to be cared for "in every detail".
When talking about ideal role models, Ms. Tuyen emphasized the element of "kindness" in all circumstances, even when angry. Besides, she hopes for a relationship with sharing housework, cooking together, not imposing and not patriarchal. For Mr. Luan, the most important criterion is sincerity and respect for morality. He believes that when there is a companion, simple things like cooking a pot of rice also become meaningful, helping life become less lonely.
In the challenge, the couple showed many similarities in their behavior: both chose to wait if the other person arrived late, valued clear notification; liked to communicate frankly instead of caring "silently"; and agreed that they needed to both speak and know how to listen. However, they also admitted differences in preferences. Ms. Tuyen said she does not have the habit of listening to music because it easily affects her mood, while Mr. Luan loves bolero and can play and sing.
At the end of the episode, both of them pressed the selection button, and the pink light was turned on.
