In folk medicine, green tea leaves are considered a "medicine" for the skin thanks to their rich antioxidant content, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which has anti-inflammatory properties, reduces sebum secretion and inhibits acne-causing bacteria.
The implementation is very simple:
Wash your face with green tea leaf water: Wash a handful of fresh green tea leaves, boil with 1 liter of water for 5-7 minutes, let cool and use it to wash your face twice a day.
Facial Steamer: Use hot green tea to steam for 5-10 minutes to help dilate pores, remove dirt and excess oil.
Brush the green tea leaf pulp: After boiling, crush the leaves and apply directly to the acne area for 10-15 minutes, then rinse.
According to the National Center for Complementary and integrative Health (NCCIH) - the US center for supplementary and integrated medical research, green tea extract has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory effects and supports acne treatment when used properly.
