In the North, the five fruits often include: grapefruit, bananas (blue), orange, tangerines (yellow), apples, pink (red), pears, peaches (white), mangosteen, plums, grapes (color black)...

In the Central region, people are not too picky and pose, often choosing seasonal fruits such as Le, Pomegranate, Peach, Buddha, Apple, Hong, Tangerine, Thanh Long ...

In the South, the five fruits often include custard, coconut, papaya, mango, and figs with the implication of "Sung Sung (Tuc) just enough to use".

The Southern people also taboo some fruits such as bananas (implied failure), oranges (tangerines to bear resignation), pears (Le drag), apples ("bombs"), pomegranate (grenades) and no fruit durian.
