The Tay Ho District Construction Investment Project Management Board (Hanoi City) has just announced an invitation for investors to be interested in the project to build the Pearl Theater and thematic cultural and artistic park in Quang An Ward, Tay Ho District.
This project is located in plots CXDT.08, CXDT.09, P2 of the detailed planning project of the central spatial axis of Quang An peninsula. The East and Southeast of the land border Dang Thai Mai Street, the West borders West Lake, the Northwest borders the existing residential area and the North borders the planned road connecting Dang Thai Mai with Quang Ba.
The total land area is over 191,240 m2, of which the part for building the Pearl Theater and the park is about 182,000 m2, the rest is for parking lots and roads. This project has a total estimated investment capital of 12,756 billion VND, equivalent to about 500 million USD.
The project's goal is to form a large-scale Opera House and a multi-purpose cultural complex serving cultural, artistic and entertainment activities, which will be a highlight attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Hanoi.
According to the bidding announcement, the first quarter to the third quarter of this year is the project preparation period, then the first quarter of 2029 is the time for investors to implement. The second quarter to the third quarter of 2029, investors must complete construction. Of which, the Pearl Theater project will be built first.
This theater located next to West Lake is a highlight in the central spatial axis of Quang An peninsula, according to the detailed planning project approved by the Hanoi People's Committee at the end of 2024.
The Hanoi People's Committee has also approved the 2025 land use plan of Tay Ho district with a list of 89 projects with a total area of nearly 349 hectares. Of which, the Pearl Theater and the thematic cultural and artistic park are among the newly registered projects to be implemented this year.
