In a conversation with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper at the beginning of the year, Hong Dao said that the home is the space she spends most of her time resting and recovering energy after many years of continuous work. The house has a large area, designed in a modern style, lots of natural light, green and quiet campus - suitable for the slow pace of life that the female artist chooses in the current period.
Although living in a house of great value, Hong Dao said that she does not pursue a luxurious lifestyle. Her daily life revolves around very ordinary things: cooking herself, taking care of the garden, reading books and spending time with her family. For the female artist, the villa is not a symbol of wealth but a "spiritual shelter", helping her regain balance after many upheavals in life.

Notably, Hong Dao once experienced a period of facing health problems, forcing her to adjust her rhythm of life. From then on, living slowly, eating regularly and maintaining a positive spirit became a top priority. The house in the US therefore plays the role of a healing space, where she can listen to her own body and emotions.
Besides her private life, Hong Dao still maintains a connection with art. She occasionally accepts to participate in suitable projects, both in the US and Vietnam, but no longer puts much emphasis on quantity or the pressure to appear regularly. Carefully choosing roles helps the female artist maintain her creative energy and interest in the profession after many decades of attachment.
On social networks, Hong Dao rarely shows off living space or assets. Rare photos shared mainly revolve around daily life, family meals or simple moments with loved ones. This partly reflects her life views: valuing spiritual values more than material displays.
