At the Vietnam Film Festival awards ceremony on the evening of November 25, actress Hong Dao was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film "Chi dau".
Meanwhile, young actor Bao Dinh won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film "The War in the Air". Both actors were absent from the awards ceremony.
In the film directed by Ham Tran, Bao Dinh plays the role of Suu - the son of Long (Thai Hoa). Suu joined the group without a robber with her father but was shy and not brutal like the other members. Although she is a supporting role, the character attracts attention for portraying weakness through her eyes and facial expressions.
One of the dramatic scenes was when stationed by Long forced to kill to survive, exposing the inner tornadoes and highlighting the relationship between father and daughter.
Dao Duy Bao Dinh is 31 years old, from Khanh Hoa. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry with a degree in Hotel restaurant management in 2016.
After graduating, he worked as a bartender at a five-star hotel, then moved to office work, human resources, and worked as a bank employee for two years. However, the family incident forced him to put his work in Ho Chi Minh City aside to return to his hometown.
In particular, the Best Supporting Actor award also went to actor Phuong Nam for his role as Ta in the film "Red Rain".
Meanwhile, artist Hong Dao plays Ba Ky in the movie Chi dau. This film also brings together other famous actors such as Viet Huong, Le Khanh, Ngoc Trinh and Dinh Y Nhung.
In this film, Hong Dao plays a somewhat difficult and strict character. She expressed the emotions of the character Ba Ky well and received many compliments from the audience.
