According to Star News, member of girl group T-ara Hyomin has overcome a 10-year age gap to marry her husband who works in the financial industry. The couple held a wedding ceremony at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul (Korea) on April 6.
Until the wedding took place, Hyomin's identity as the fiance was kept secret, raising many questions. After the wedding, Hyomin attracted attention when she revealed a group wedding photo with the groom on her social media account.
A media outlet later revealed that Hyomins husband was Kim Hyun Seung, a managing director in the Korea office of Bain Capital, a leading global private equity firm (PEF).
Bain Capital is increasingly recognized in the global private equity sector and Kim Hyun Seung is said to be one of the company's key figures in Korea, supervising large transactions and managing investment portfolios.
Kim Hyun Seung was born in 1979, graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He started his career at Bain & Company and then worked at Unison Capital before joining Bain Capital in 2018.

Because Hyomin's fiance is not a celebrity, the couple held a private wedding, with the presence of relatives in the family, close friends and artists who have a close relationship with Hyomin.
Comedian Jo Se Ho was the MC for the ceremony. While singers Gummy and Im Si Wan performed a congratulatory song.
The artists discovered attending the wedding include 4 members T-ara (Eunjung, Jiyeon, Qri, Boram), Lee Dong Wook, Kim Jae Joong (JYJ), Daesung (Big Bang), Bora (Sistar), Jinyoung (B1A4), Yuri (SNSD), Go So Young, Shin Ha Kyun...
According to Sports Kyunghyang, Hyomin and her businessman husband's lavish wedding cost hundreds of millions of won.
Hyomin once shared about her husband before the wedding: "I have met a man who may not be handsome by standards but is the best person in my eyes."
