In a new video posted on her personal tiktok account, Thuy Hien shared the reason why she knew the talented male player from Taiwan (China).
"I played billiards because I loved it. After that, I also actively learned about famous players, including the three Ko brothers. I was impressed with Ko Ping Chung at first. Because I felt admiration and liked him, I sent him a friend request and tried texting him.
Ko Ping Chung replied at first but left it at that, no progress. I decided not to give up. On my birthday, I tried posting many photos that my male friends gave me.
Unexpectedly, Ko Ping Chung noticed and came to wish me a happy birthday, promising to come to Vietnam to give me a gift next time he comes to Vietnam. The two talked to each other for more than a month, then their feelings grew and gradually progressed to an official relationship," Thuy Hien said.
Ko Ping Chung's girlfriend revealed that since making their relationship public, the couple has received many negative comments, many of whom believe that having a girlfriend has reduced the male player's performance.
"I hope everyone has a more objective view. Ko Ping Chung still won many awards when he had a girlfriend. To me, he is a great guy in every way. We also have our own plans, including getting married. We plan to hold a wedding ceremony in 2024," Thuy Hien said.
