On the morning of November 15, the Green Vietnam Festival officially opened at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, opening a series of exciting activities taking place throughout November 15 and 16, aiming for a green lifestyle and sustainable consumption.
After the opening ceremony, thousands of visitors visited and experienced the area displaying recycled products, models, and green solutions, aiming for a circular economy from more than 40 participating units. According to the organizers, during the 2 days of the event, it is expected that there will be more than 15,000 visitors.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, said that the Green Vietnam Festival is an opportunity to spread the spirit of environmental action to the community.
He also emphasized that the event will be a bridge connecting management agencies, businesses and people, implementing green models, green solutions and environmentally friendly products.
Starting from April 2024, the Green Vietnam Festival is one of the key activities in the series of programs of the Green Vietnam project, jointly organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, the Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance.
Through a series of meaningful actions, Vietnam Green 2025 aims to connect businesses and communities, promote green consumption, green production and green transformation nationwide, contributing to realizing Vietnam's Net Zero commitment at COP26.
