I thought they were sisters", "The mother looks so young, dressing and wearing makeup in the same style as her daughter makes them look like sisters"..., many comments were left under the photos of Ms. Thu and her daughter.
Ms. Vu Thi Thu was born in 1992, and her daughter An Nhi was born in 2009.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Ms. Thu said that on the occasion of her daughter's 16th birthday, the girl asked her to take a commemorative photo shoot in a poetic, gentle and innocent style.
"The mother and daughter chose the same outfit and hairstyle and took a photo shoot for the child's birthday. I didn't expect the photo shoot to be so popular and shared. The next day, many friends and acquaintances texted to ask about my photo shoot when it appeared all over social media.
In fact, I am always mistaken for my child's sister or friend. Suddenly becoming famous in an unexpected way, my family and I are surprised and happy to receive many compliments," Ms. Vu Thi Thu expressed.
The young mother is working in the cosmetics business and has 3 children, of which An Nhi is the first daughter. Ms. Thu said that her daughter often wears her mother’s clothes because they have similar body shapes.
Ms. Thu said that because she is 17 years older than her child, she is like a friend to her child, easily confiding in and sharing life with her child: "Whenever she has happy or sad things, she whispers to me. Sometimes, she even calls me sister."
