Construction site bustling after Tet

In particular, the main focus is on constructing the roadbed with crushed stone and constructing the underpass for people through the highway.
Workers Luong A Giap (44 years old, from Thanh Hoa province) - constructing an underpass through the highway in Thach Dai commune - said that after returning home for Tet, he returned to the construction site with a new spirit. Currently, he and other workers focus on construction to achieve the highest volume, and promptly complete the project according to the progress set by the company.
Mr. Bui Thanh Hai - engineer of Company 319 of the Ministry of National Defense, present at the construction site - said that before Tet, the Company's staff, engineers and workers worked until December 28 of the lunar calendar before going home for Tet.
On the 4th day of Tet, the brothers focused on the construction site and from the 5th day, they focused on construction again.
According to Mr. Hai, currently the package of Company 319 of the Ministry of National Defense has achieved 70% of the construction volume. The main job at this time is to focus on the crushed stone aggregate roadbed to move towards the asphalt paving.
"Currently, we are focusing 100% of machinery and construction workers, and also working overtime at night to speed up progress," said Mr. Hai.
At the contract package constructed by Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise in the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section in Cam Quan commune (Cam Xuyen district), machinery and workers are paving the roadbed.
Workers Nguyen Van Trung shared: “Returning to the construction site after Tet, we focus on construction with the determination to complete it, ensuring the progress set by the company to open the main route before April 30”.
Focus on speeding up the progress of the "sprint" period
Mr. Nguyen Toan Quan - Deputy Commander of the North-South Expressway Construction Site through Ha Tinh of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise - said that from the 5th day of Tet, all engineers and workers of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise were present in Ha Tinh to resume construction from the 6th day of Tet.
"Currently, at the 7km package construction site that we are in charge of, there are 150 people and more than 300 machines and vehicles focusing on speeding up the progress with the determination to complete the main route of the project before April 30 as directed by superiors", Mr. Quan shared.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung - Director of the North-South Expressway Project Management Board, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section - said that at this time, contractors have focused 100% of machinery and human resources on the construction of the expressway project after Tet.
"Currently, the construction volume of Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section has reached about 78%. Contractors are focusing on construction, mainly on roadbed construction and asphalting with the determination to complete the main route of the project before April 30," Mr. Trung shared.
Mr. Hoang Chien Thang - Executive Director of the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway Project (Thang Long Project Management Board) - said that since the 5th of Tet, contractors have focused on machinery and workers to return to the project construction site.
Currently, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway project has completed about 75% of the construction volume. According to Mr. Thang, contractors are focusing highly on the final stage of construction, determined to complete the main route before April 30.
