Recently, singer and actress Hyomin (a member of T-ara) appeared in the latest episode of the variety show Omniscient Interfering View, giving the audience a true look at her daily life, after getting married in early April to her businessman husband, who is 10 years her senior.
In the show, when Hyomin's apartment was revealed, the artists were curious whether it was Hyomin's bride's house with her husband.
When asked by others, Hyomin said that it was her private home and she had not yet moved to live with her husband. According to Hyomin, the renovation of the new house took more time than expected, causing the couple to not be able to move in together, despite having been married for 2 months.
When Hyomin introduced a roundabout of her house, the artists were surprised by her interests.
Hyomin's love of photography is clearly shown through his huge camera collection. She even has a specialized refrigerator to store her camera equipment in the best condition. Another of Hyomin's interests was revealed to be painting, her works are displayed throughout the house.
What was even more surprising was that the audience saw Hyomin taking advantage of his rare free time to learn more about the financial field. The artists in the program were surprised because she still struggled to study despite her tight schedule.
Hyomin shared: "Because my husband works in the financial industry, I think I should not be completely blind to this area."
According to the media, Hyomin's husband is Kim Hyun Seung - CEO of the Korea office of Bain Capital, a leading global private equity firm (PEF).
Also on the show, Hyomin recounted the first time she met her husband. She shared: "That was a friend's birthday. They rented a restaurant and invited friends to come. At first, I didn't know what my husband did for a job, but his appearance was exactly the way I liked. I felt he was very attractive. And by chance, we were sitting next to each other, so we started talking very naturally.
Hyomin further revealed that her husband once said: "You don't look like a celebrity at all. I feel like I have known her for a long time. The singer admitted that their relationship can be called "lightning love".
In addition, Hyomin recounted her husband's bold proposal: "At that time, we had been dating for about a year. While watching TV, he suddenly mentioned April 6 and 13. Then suddenly he said: "I have arranged the wedding venue".
Finally, the couple's private wedding with a budget of hundreds of millions of won took place at the Shilla Hotel (Seoul, Korea).
While choosing the furniture for her newlyweds' house, Hyomin sent her husband a message: "I have planned my whole life, I just need to trust and go with you".
