On the morning of September 21, driver Nguyen Thanh Tung (born in 1999, residing in Binh Khe ward, Quang Ninh province) took Ms. T from his private home to Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital to give birth.
T was accompanied by her biological mother, and both of them sat in the back seat of the car.
When the car had gone about 2/3 of the way, Ms. T suddenly became pregnant. In the face of an emergency situation, driver Tung reassured the pregnant woman while focusing on driving quickly to the nearest medical station.
Unexpectedly, with her mother's support, Ms. T gave birth right on the back seat. The baby cried and was born right in the car.
Next, driver Tung quickly took the car to the nearest health station, called for medical staff to support the pregnant woman, and then continued to take the pregnant mother and child to Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital.
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on the evening of September 21, driver Tung said: "I still haven't had time to get this parking fee. When I took my mother to the emergency room, I was very nervous and happy, the happiest thing was that her mother and children were safe.
According to Mr. Tung, after 2 years of driving a taxi, this was the second time he took the mother to the emergency room, this time she gave birth right in the car. The incident left him with an unforgettable memory in his career.
