Previously, at around 11pm on September 2, the mother V.T.H (40 years old, residing in Cua Ong ward, Quang Ninh province) was admitted to Cam Pha General Hospital in a state of 41 weeks pregnant, 5th labor, large head, large belly with gestational diabetes.

Immediately after examination and assessment of a high risk for mother and baby, doctors of the Obstetrics Department decided to perform emergency cesarean section.

The surgery of pregnant woman H was successful, the baby born weighing 6.2kg was the heaviest baby ever born in the hospital's Obstetrics Department. The child showed signs of wheezing, light purple lips and limbs, and was transferred to the Department of Pediatrics for monitoring.

By September 4, the health of mother and baby had stabilized. The baby continues to be supported and monitored at the Department of Pediatrics.
