The program "You want to date" aired with Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan matchmaking with Nguyen Trung Truc (38 years old), currently working as an electromechanical maintenance worker in Vinh Long, and Bui Thi My Yen (33 years old), working at a company in Ho Chi Minh City. Both participants in this episode have experienced broken marriages.
Trung Truc introduced himself as a cheerful, sociable, hard-working, non-smoking person. He currently lives with his parents in his hometown. Previously, he had been married for nearly 5 years, but due to his inconsistent personality and lack of sharing, after only 1 year of living together, the couple separated. After that, his marriage ended regrettably.
For her part, My Yen also had a short marriage. 3 years ago, she got married and lived with her husband for 6 months. When the conflict arose, her husband moved out separately and then went to the pagoda to live. Looking back, My Yen admitted that she lacks experience and sometimes does not know how to love properly. Sharing about the future, Trung Truc expressed his willingness to get married if both of them found it suitable, or else just slowly get to know each other. When My Yen asked about her finances for marriage, Trung Truc replied: "I'm enough to marry you. I am willing to follow your wishes, as long as I am happy. I think you agree with me". As for My Yen, she admired the groom because of his gentleness and honesty. "This is the first time I have met a gentle person like you," she shared.
