Nowadays, the image of a woman is no longer narrow in the mold of "good at public affairs, good at housework" that has been familiar for decades. The development of modern society requires women not only to be talented and brave but also to be proactive - in studying, work, feelings and the journey to create their own lives.
Be proactive, first of all, do not leave your fate to anyone else. In many situations, resilience or the "waiting" mentality have unintentionally caused many women to suffer. Modern women cannot live in the mindset of "take what you give". If they are not proactive in equipping themselves with knowledge, skills and a voice, they are easily left behind or dependent - both financially and emotionally.
Fortunately, more and more women are choosing to live in a different way: proactively learning, independently financing and not afraid to step out of their comfort zone. They boldly start a business, participating in fields that are considered "cts male-specific" such as technology, logistics, and business leadership. Many single mothers dare to choose an independent life to raise their children in a healthier environment, even though that journey is not less difficult.
At the same time, proactively daring to fight for legitimate rights. In recent years, movements against sexual harassment, speaking out for gender inequality, protecting maternity in the workplace... have increasingly had the active participation of women. Modern women understand that silence is not virtue, and only when they speak out are they listened to and respected.
However, not everyone can easily get the necessary initiative. Barriers come from social prejudice, family pressure and sometimes lack of confidence from within women. Therefore, the role of education, communication and support policies is extremely important. There needs to be more skills training programs, start-up support, and legal advice for women - especially in rural and remote areas.
In the cultural and social aspects, it is also necessary to change the way of communication and build a model for women. Instead of encouraging sacrifice, acceptance or "being gentle to the end", spread the image of a woman who knows how to love herself, has an independent mindset and lives kindly to the community - but does not lose herself. A good wife is not always patient, but someone who dares to work with her husband to build dialogue and accompany in respect. A good mother is not only the one who raises her children, but also the one who helps them understand what freedom and responsibility are.
As famous journalist Oriana Fallaci said: "Don't cry, take action. That is how women change the world. In the context of a strong social transformation, modern women cannot wait for opportunities to come but must proactively create them. And in that journey, the important thing is not who they are like, but who they dare to live like themselves.
