Having met in Russia, the engineering couple decided to return to Vietnam to get married

In the new episode of the show "Newlyweds", the nuclear engineer couple Vo Duc Gioang (34 years old) and Le Phuong Thao (34 years old) made the audience laugh with their difficult but also very warm love story.Currently, both are living in Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City.

Duc Gioang and Phuong Thao first met when they were studying in Russia in 2011.Their relationship started in a special way.

Duc Gioang said that his course had 70 students, but only 10 were female.The competition to have a girlfriend was not easy when he had to overcome many other boys, both seniors and juniors.

A memorable event was the first Tet exchange.When a senior male student gave Phuong Thao a rose on stage, Gioang quietly went home without saying a word.It was Phuong Thao who took the initiative to "signal" for Duc Gioang to quickly confess his love, avoiding missing the opportunity.After the sincere letter, the two officially became a couple.

However, Phuong Thao's first impression of her boyfriend was not very deep.Gradually, Duc Gioang's thoughtfulness and sincerity won her heart.The simple meals that Duc Gioang cooked every day after school made Phuong Thao feel special attention.

The climax of the journey was when Duc Gioang decided to visit Phuong Thao's home in Gia Lai.On the way, because there were no buses in the evening, he had to hitchhike on a pig truck.Even though he sat in the passenger seat, the distinctive smell of the trip still stuck to his clothes.

When he arrived home, Duc Gioang appeared in a neat appearance, holding flowers and a cake to wish Phuong Thao a happy birthday.Although the girl's family noticed the "strange" smell, no one said anything.They were impressed by the romanticism, gentleness and progressive spirit of the young man.

Duc Gioang invested a lot of effort into the proposal, from renting the backdrop, asking friends to dance, to preparing the red carpet.However, Phuong Thao accidentally discovered the entire plan when accessing her work email.Even so, she still acted skillfully to make Duc Gioang feel surprised and successful.

After completing their studies, the couple returned to Vietnam and held a wedding in 2018.

After living together, Phuong Thao realized the difference when Duc Gioang no longer gave gifts as often as before.She shared that her husband was too passionate about work and spent little time with his children.

Participating in the program, Duc Gioang revealed his plan to organize a honeymoon in Singapore on the occasion of their 7th wedding anniversary, to make up for his wife's feelings.
