FT ISLAND drummer Choi Min Hwan is facing allegations of prostitution, Xport News reported. The incident occurred before he and Yulhee divorced, sparking controversy over their marriage.
Accordingly, on October 24, Yulhee (former member of the group LABOUM) posted a video on her personal YouTube channel, saying that she and Choi Min Hwan "went their separate ways" because he frequently visited unhealthy establishments and sexually harassed her in front of her family.
At the same time, Yulhee also denied the information that YouTube and Choi Min Hwan had previously provided. The beauty affirmed that the two divorced not because of differences in lifestyle and child education costs as many people mistakenly thought.
"About a year before the divorce, our lives completely changed because of a major incident. I could endure the hardship of raising children, the arguments, but I couldn't bear to stay in that house. I couldn't face my family.
He behaved so badly. Choi Min Hwan touched my body in front of my parents, stuffed money into the collar of my pajamas. My ex-husband even touched my private parts while my family was playing a jigsaw puzzle.

To back up his claims, the former LABOUM member released a video recorded in August 2022, recording a conversation between the male idol and a man related to the prostitution establishment. The two used slang to talk about entertainment venues and choosing girls in karaoke bars.
In her video, Yulhee confided that she had endured a lot and felt hurt after the divorce. However, the incident went further and further, affecting her life and her parents. Therefore, she had to speak up to explain clearly.
"Many people left malicious, harsh comments like I was completely at fault in this marriage. Sometimes I felt uncomfortable and it was unfair. I wanted to tell you everything because I don't want to be criticized anymore.
We divorced after discussing it. I originally wanted to take the children away, but the child support fee was only 2 million won. My financial situation did not allow me to fight for the children. The lawsuit was not feasible, they exhausted me. Even though he treated me badly, he still fully met the children's needs. Therefore, I gave up custody," Yulhee said.
Yulhee and Choi Min Hwan married in 2018 and have 3 children together. In December 2023, the couple divorced, with Choi Min Hwan gaining custody of the children.
