Many young people schedule Tet nails early
With less than a month left until the 2026 Lunar New Year, many nail salons in Hanoi have entered the peak season early and are continuously crowded.
Notably, the worry of "not having beautiful nails to wear for Tet" makes many young people proactively schedule 1 - 2 months in advance to ensure they have a satisfactory nail set in the early days of reunion.
Ms. Mai Anh (22 years old, Hanoi) said that last year, due to subjectively scheduling late appointments, she had to make an unsatisfactory nail set because many shops were full.
This year, learning from experience, from the beginning of November of the lunar calendar, I proactively texted to make appointments in advance. Having beautiful nails during Tet is very important to me. Going to wish Tet, meeting relatives and friends but nails are not beautiful, I feel lack of confidence," Ms. Mai Anh shared.

With the same mentality, Ms. Thu Huong (25 years old, Hanoi) also scheduled nails nearly two months before Tet.
I am most afraid of making nails on the 27th - 28th days of Tet, when the salon is too crowded, making it hastily and not carefully. Making an early appointment is both to choose the model I like and to be assured of not having to wait," Ms. Thu Huong said.
According to Ms. Huong, making beautiful nails for Tet is not only a need for beauty but also a way to "get lucky" for a new year of meticulousness and luck.
Night-round nail salon serving peak season
According to reporters' records, many nail salons in Hanoi have actively prepared for the Tet season more than a month ago.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Diep - owner of a nail salon in Hanoi - said that the salon has fully prepared everything from tools, raw materials to updating new trends and nail designs to serve customers.
Regarding human resources, compared to normal days, we increase the number of workers to serve the Tet season. Working hours are also adjusted, some days working until 12 pm, even 1 am to meet the needs of customers," Ms. Diep shared.
At another nail salon in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Thy - the salon owner - said that the Tet nail art schedule has been opened very early and is gradually full.

From the beginning of December of the Gregorian calendar, my family has started receiving Tet calendars. The calendar lasts from the 18th to the 28th of the twelfth lunar month. Peak days like the 25th - 28th of Tet are almost fully booked," Ms. Nguyen Khanh Thy said.
According to calculations, each day the shop can serve about 20 - 24 customers, at peak times it can be up to 10 customers/day for each worker.
The number of Tet customers this year is said to have increased by about 20% compared to last year, the nail style trend is also becoming younger, focusing on sophisticated and personalized design.
When Tet approaches, pretty nails are not only a need for beauty but also carry the desire to start a brilliant new year.
Behind those sparkling nail sets is the meticulous preparation and almost non-stop working nights of nail technicians, busy to keep "beautiful spirits" for customers during Tet.
