The movie "Mui Pho" organized a showcase in Hanoi with a space imbued with traditional identity, gathering director Minh Beta, artist Xuan Hinh and a cast of actors to participate.
Mui Pho" will participate in this year's Tet film market, competing with "Tho oi" by Tran Thanh, and "Nha ba toi mot cachong" by Truong Giang.
The highlight of the event is the moment Minh Beta in the role of a singer directly performing the movie soundtrack song "Memory", leading the audience into a cinematic story associated with culture, memories and the spirit of reunion during Tet.
His direct performance of "Mui ky uc" not only contributes to perfecting the emotions for the film, but also creates a natural connection between music, cinema and the cultural - family values that "Mui Pho" pursues.

Director Minh Beta shared that "Mui Pho" is built on 3 layers of value: Culture - art - family, in which pho plays the role of a point of intersection, connecting memories, emotions and familiar relationships of Vietnamese people every Tet.
Participating in a film project for the first time, artist Xuan Hinh shared that, "A Tet movie that makes people laugh and love each other more, and evokes family traditions, Tet traditions, that is very precious.
After many years of being associated with the image of a comedian and Northern folk stage. From being familiar with laughter, simple roles and works for traditional stages, Xuan Hinh this time appeared in "Mui Pho" with a completely different image: The person who holds the "Vietnamese pho spirit", a difficult father-in-law, with many layers of emotions and carrying heavy family memories.

This choice makes many people ask the question: Is "Mui Pho" a rare turning point, even a breakthrough in the twilight years of the "king of Northern comedy", when he first used cinema to tell a very Northern, very Tet and very real story?
Artist Xuan Hinh also shared that he is often mentioned with the title "King of Northern Comedy". However, the male artist expressed that he only hopes to be seen as someone who sows laughter, someone who brings laughter to the audience, because what he cherishes most is the simple joy given.
Artist Xuan Hinh emotionally shared that his whole life has been associated with folk culture and art, especially the belief in Mother Goddess worship. Therefore, when he was chosen for this role, he believed it was like a warning from God.
And as an artist who is always aware of preserving and honoring traditional culture and family values, Xuan Hinh accepted to participate in "Mui Pho" when he felt the dedication of the filmmakers, as well as the message he wanted to aim for is to honor pho, honor family values.
