Previously, at around 2:30 a.m. on August 21, people discovered a newborn baby boy abandoned in front of the house of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Van (Hien Hoa 2 village, Vinh Loc commune). At the time of discovery, the child was about 14 days old, weighed 3kg, had not lost navel, was wearing a yellow shirt, socks and wrapped in an orange towel.
Next to the child was a blue plastic basket, inside were paper towels, diapers, clothes and milk bottles.
Currently, the People's Committee of Vinh Loc commune has temporarily assigned the child to Mr. Ha Van Lam and Mrs. Le Thi No (Hien Hoa 2 village) to take care of and raise.
The People's Committee of Vinh Loc commune announced that from August 25 to August 31, 2025, anyone who is a relative of the child should contact the local government to complete the procedures to receive the child back. After the above deadline, if no one comes to claim the birth, the commune will register the birth and carry out related procedures according to the law.
