In the new episode of the show "You want to date", MC Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan matchmaker Mai Hoang Dat (born in 1998, from Bac Ninh) and Bui Thi Dung (29 years old, from Hung Yen).
Hoang Dat currently lives in Hanoi, working as a business manager in the real estate sector. He admits that he is eloquent and knows about many entertainment and dining venues due to the nature of his regular work trips.
Hoang Dat's weakness is being hot-tempered, especially when working with employees in the same group. He said that sometimes he reacts harshly if colleagues do not do as required even though they have been instructed many times.
Bui Thi Dung is currently a tester at a software company in Hanoi. She commented that she is emotional, values her family, works seriously and likes a clean and neat living space. Her limitations are being shy and taciturn when first met, so it is easy to create a feeling of being unapproachable.
Talking about love, Bui Thi Dung said that she has not experienced official relationships. Friends have introduced some people, but she feels they are not suitable to go further.
Meanwhile, Hoang Dat once had a girlfriend, but the relationship did not receive family consensus due to geographical distance. According to him, parents and many people in his hometown often want their children to marry someone nearby.
In my hometown, people basically only marry people in the village or commune. I used to date a friend who was a bit far away, so my parents strongly opposed it," Hoang Dat recounted.
The male manager admitted that at that time, he chose to listen to his family. His parents were both 68 years old, so he wanted to spend time near and respect their wishes.
This information made Bui Thi Dung and her mother worried. The girl's mother commented that Hoang Dat was mature but wanted to know if he could overcome family pressure if he came to the girl from Thai Binh.
To resolve concerns, the two MCs asked Hoang Dat to call and ask his father's opinion right on stage. The male manager asked: "Will you have a girlfriend in Hung Yen soon?".
Hoang Dat's father replied that whether it is near or far depends on fate, the important thing is that the two find happiness. The answer partly helps the bride's family reduce pressure.
When the barrier opened, Hoang Dat and Bui Thi Dung exchanged views on work, marriage views and plans to meet if they moved on to getting to know each other. The guy believes that the distance between the two areas between Gia Lam and Cau Giay in Hanoi is not an obstacle, and can also take her to explore dining locations in the capital.
Bui Thi Dung wants a serious, long-term relationship, in which the two people know how to share, understand and respect each other. However, she is still wondering whether Hoang Dat is decisive enough to protect the relationship against the wishes of his family.
MC Quyen Linh commented that the views of the two are still distant, and the interaction on stage does not show many similarities. The male MC frankly advised them to start from friendship instead of rushing to establish a romantic relationship.
As a result, both Hoang Dat and Bui Thi Dung did not press the button. The two shook hands, agreed to keep in touch and could learn more outside the program if they felt suitable.
