This is the first time Danil has visited his maternal hometown since his birth in November 2022.
Due to the lack of a direct flight, Dianka and her son had to go through a nearly 24-hour journey, from Ho Chi Minh City to Istanbul (Turkey), then connect to Poland, then continue traveling by car to Lviv city (Ukraine).
The trip also coincided with the 47th birthday of her mother - Mrs. Natalya Leschishina, who had lived in Ho Chi Minh City for nearly two years to help take care of baby Danil.
Sharing on social media, Dianka wrote: "I went through sleepless nights, connecting flights and thousands of kilometers, just to be able to get back to my mother and hug her tightly."
This is the third time Dianka has returned to Ukraine since publicly dating the goalkeeper from Thanh Hoa in 2020.
Meanwhile, Bui Tien Dung has not had the opportunity to visit his wife's hometown, because he is currently focusing on the final phase of V.League 2024-2025 with Da Nang club.
Currently, the Han River team is at the bottom of the rankings and must win both of their final matches to keep the hope of staying in the league.
