In March, Korean screens witnessed the breakthrough of 2 outstanding films, "The Ghost Lawyer" and "The Deadline". Although exploiting 2 completely different content directions, both create their own attraction thanks to novel scripts and a cast of talented actors.
Ghost Lawyers" quickly became a phenomenon when it aired with an impressive rating, rising to the top of the weekend slot. The special point of the film lies in the combination of legal elements and supernatural colors. Instead of just revolving around familiar court sessions, the film opens up a world where lawyers can communicate with spirits to find the truth.

The main character Shin Yi Rang is a young lawyer who accidentally possesses the ability to see and talk to ghosts after opening an office in a mysterious house. The souls carrying injustice become special "customers", helping him decipher seemingly deadlocked cases.
Accompanying Yi Rang is female lawyer Han Na Hyeon, who always puts victory first. The contrast in the personalities of the 2 characters creates many dramatic situations, both attractive and emotional. Not only is it curious because of the spiritual element, the film also skillfully conveys a message about justice and compassion.
Meanwhile, "The Limit" takes viewers into a completely different world - where power, ambition and conspiracy are intertwined. The center of the story is Bang Tae Seob, a prosecutor from a poor but ambitious background, and his wife Choo Sang Ah - a former star who is trying to regain her position after the scandal.

The two of them enter a survival battle in the upper class, where the boundary between allies and opponents becomes fragile. The film impresses with a tense noir atmosphere, combining political and psychological elements.
Each character is built in a multi-dimensional way, constantly "turning their faces", making it difficult for viewers to guess. Besides, the bold scenes and convincing acting of the cast further increase the attractiveness.
Ghost Lawyers" and "The Deadline" are currently showing on FPT Play, in parallel with Korea.
