On the morning of August 20, thousands of audiences flocked to the Hanoi Opera House to wait in line to get free tickets for the national concert "Vietnam in Me".
At noon of the same day, the organizing committee (BTC) issued a new notice on the temporary suspension of ticket distribution.
"Due to the large number of audiences flocking to the Hanoi Opera House on the morning of August 20, in order to ensure security, order and have the most thoughtful organization plan, the Organizing Committee decided to temporarily suspend ticket sales on August 20.
We really hope to receive sympathy, sharing and support from the audience. The Organizing Committee will soon announce a plan to adjust the ticket distribution plan so that everyone can conveniently watch and attend," the program's organizers stated.
The Organizing Committee affirmed that with the concert "Vietnam in Me", the goal is to bring the audience a truly meaningful, complete and safe music event - where the spirit of national pride and love for the country is spread through special songs.

The Organizing Committee also sent its thanks to the attention, support and enthusiasm that the public has given to the program.
"The support of the audience is the biggest motivation for the organizers to continue to make efforts, bringing a music night worthy of everyone's expectations," said the organizing committee.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, from around 2:00 a.m. on August 20, a large audience lined up in front of the Opera House.
Because tickets are distributed for free, the number of audiences is increasing. People jostle in the hot sun, carrying umbrellas and sunshades. Some people showed signs of fatigue, low blood pressure, and were taken out of the queue.
Juggling and pushing occurred as the ticket issuance time approached.
Although the organizers have arranged people to guide the audience to line up, they still cannot compare with the number of thousands of people waiting.
Because of the large number, the organizers opened the gate before 9:00 a.m. in the plan.
At around 9:05 a.m., the organizers issued a loudspeaker announcing the temporary suspension of ticket sales during the day.
Previously, the program was expected to distribute 3,000 tickets per day, from August 20 to 22.
Each person will receive a maximum of 2 tickets. Vietnamese citizens aged 14 and over must bring the original citizen identification card (CCCD) to receive tickets.
The program "Vietnam in Me" is called "national concert" by the audience, gathering many famous artists loved by young people such as: Soobin Hoang Son, Hoa Minzy, Erik, Duc Phuc, Anh Tu, Quan AP, Duong Hoang Yen and the band Chillies.
The concert will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 26, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
