The program with the theme "Vibrant Light - Bright Light" is a large-scale cultural and artistic event, organized to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, and at the same time welcome the new year of Binh Ngo Spring 2026. The event contributes to spreading the spirit of solidarity, belief and aspiration for development of the country in the new period.
The program gathers a cast of typical artists of Vietnamese music, including: Lam Truong, Truc Nhan, Ca Nuong Kieu Anh, Phuong Ly, Quan A.P, Buitruonglinh, Dong Hung, Hoang Quyen, along with young artists Ali Thuc Phuong, Kim Cuong, Dang Kim Thien Kim... The participation of artists from many generations, many styles contributes to creating a diverse and spreading artistic image for the program.
The program is the opening highlight within the framework of the Hanoi International Light Festival. The event contributes to promoting the image of Hanoi Capital - Creative City, promoting tourism, the night economy and cultural industries.
The program is built on a harmonious combination of music, lighting, technology and heritage. In which, music plays a central role in leading emotions, lighting expands the expressive space; technology brings modern performance methods, while heritage creates a cultural foundation, creating depth and identity for the entire program.
At the program announcement ceremony, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association affirmed: "The Hoa Nhac Anh Sang - New Year 2026 program continues the success of the 2025 event, and is also elevated in terms of scale, artistic content and conveyed message.
Through the harmonious combination of music, lighting, technology and heritage, the program not only brings a modern and attractive art enjoyment space but also contributes to spreading sustainable cultural values, arousing pride, solidarity and the country's aspiration for development in the new era".
According to Mr. Dang Le Minh Tri, Creative Director cum General Director of the program, the difference of this year's program lies in the fact that for the first time, a large-scale, complex and highly mobile performance technology system is deployed right on the stage in front of the Hanoi Opera House.
The LED mesh system with automatic programmable slides allows heritage architecture to be "opened" in layers of emotion. The performance runway operates with a programmable panel system creating a multi-layered performance space. The 75-ton self-propelled axle lifts image structures into the air, expanding the visual and sensory depth of the audience.
The program content is structured into three chapters, with classical, folk, contemporary and modern music materials, leading the audience from the depth of tradition and belief, to fresh, youthful beauty and closing with a brilliant, optimistic spirit, representing a strongly developing Vietnam.
The program will officially take place at 8:00 PM on January 31, 2026 at August Revolution Square, in front of the Hanoi Opera House. The event is open to the public of the Capital and tourists.
