Taxi Driver (Vietnamese title: Taxi Driver/famous) is about a mysterious taxi company called Rainbow Taxi with 5 members: Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon), Jang Sung Cheol (Kim Eui Sung), Ahn Go Eun (Pyo Ye Jin), Choi Kyung Goo (Jang Hyuk Jin), Park Jin Uhn (Bae Yoo Ram).
They operate as a revenge organization, representing victims who cannot seek justice through the law.
In addition to the return of the Red Bridge Taxi group, the relationship between driver Do Gi and female blogger Go Eun received the attention of the audience. Previously, in season 2, the two were praised for being a beautiful couple, interacting well when playing young couples.
Sharing about the interesting relationship between the two when they grew from early friendship to love, Pyo Ye Jin said: I am very grateful that the audience appreciates the relationship between the two characters. For Go Eun, Do Gi is still the person she can trust and rely on the most. I think the audience will continue to witness their precious relationship as they are always by each other's side and give each other strength.
According to the actress, she was very happy to be with all members of the Red Bridge Taxi group back and meet the audience. Although she cannot hide her heart when accidents and incidents constantly happen in real life, she feels relieved that the audience can find comfort and hope for a brighter tomorrow when watching Taxi Driver - a film that is completely opposite to that reality.
Pyo Ye Jin added that in season 3, the audience can look forward to the interesting story in each episode. As a huge fan of the action scenes of the cars in Taxi Driver, I can say that this season will have more spectacular and impressive action scenes. Personally, I also look forward to the diverse action scenes that will appear when the film airs.
In addition, the team spirit of the members is a plus point. When filming the underground maintenance room meeting with all 5 members, I felt a sense of harmony. Even without a discussion or practice session before, our team spirit is still great. It was reassuring and joyful that I felt we were enriching the scenes by exchanging lines with each other.
Previously, Lee Je Hoon also revealed that the chat group of the cast in the recent film was mainly daily conversations about food, baseball... so it felt like they were a family.
Every scene on set was filled with laughter. My character Do Gi is considered serious, but there are times when it is difficult to hold back laughter because just by looking at each other, we laugh. I think the laughter and natural closeness in these moments are what the audience loves on screen" - the actor said.
The movie Taxi Driver 3 is scheduled to premiere on November 21.
