On June 2, G-Dragon's management company (Big Bang), Galaxy Corporation, issued an official statement regarding the dating rumors between G-Dragon and female singer Sana (TWICE) that have recently gone viral.
The company said, "We want to correct the misunderstandings surrounding the rumors about G-Dragon's relationship that have been spreading online in recent days.
G-Dragon filmed Dex and Sanas Fridge Interview on April 14, a day after MBCs Good Day aired.
Then, on April 22, G-Dragon attended a Coldplay concert in Korea and posted a photo from the event. During that concert, TWICE performed as special guests.
He listed Sana's personal social media account as simply an act of friendship after filming the show together.
The company further explained that G-Dragon participated in filming Fridge Interview because of his friendship with ax ax. Sana's appearance was only confirmed one day before filming.
The reason we did not respond to dating rumors early is because we were concerned that this could disrupt G-Dragons appearance on the Fridge Interview show, the company clarified.
Previously, G-Dragon's association of the only Sana in the post featuring the whole TWICE group was performing caused a stir on social media.
Many people question whether this is a sign of the two artists' relationship. Because G-Dragon and Sana had never had a close relationship until that time.
But on May 30, G-Dragon (Big Bang) was unexpectedly introduced as a guest on the online entertainment show Fridge Interview hosted by actor Dex and Sana (TWICE).
At the same time, G-Dragon's management company officially denied the dating rumors between the two artists, clarifying G-Dragon's controversial actions.
