On the afternoon of May 21, Miss Y Nhi and contestants from the Asia - Pacific and Europe regions entered the first round of the "Head To Head Challenge" competition within the framework of the 72nd Miss World.
The representative of Vietnam is one of the final contestants. However, different from other representatives, Y Nhi actively prepared images and information about the "Heart to Head" project for the presentation to send to the judges before his statement. This action has helped Vietnam representative score. On the forums, international friends praised the actions of Y Nhi as well and intelligent because the contestants did not have much time to present and sending documents in advance could help the judges to grasp more information.
In her presentation, Miss Y Nhi talked about her childhood dream and aspiration at the present time: If you have dreamed of becoming a doctor, teacher or leader, raise your arms. I have shared those beautiful, pure dreams since I was a child. But life took me on a more surprising journey than becoming Miss World Vietnam 2023. At Miss World, I hope to use my voice and influence to add strength and nurture many other dreams.
Miss Y Nhi also shared her pride when representing Vietnam in the Miss World contest. She was inspired by the contest's commitment to society, especially children and education. The beauty hopes that the project "Heart to Head" to support her disadvantaged students will be widely spread through Miss World.
After completing this competition, Miss Y Nhi said she felt relieved and felt meaningful because the project was spread. "I had the opportunity to watch the performances of other contestants and learn from their experiences for myself. What I feel most meaningful is not what I have done, but the story of bookcases, the dreams of children in remote areas of Vietnam that have been spread to the world, she said.
After the first round, the contestants with the best performances will be selected to advance to the Head To Head Challenge finals scheduled to take place on May 23. Before that, Y Nhi completed the Sports competition and entered her name in the Top 48 of the Talent competition.
The 72nd Miss World final night is scheduled to take place on May 31. The judges will select the Top 40 in 4 continental regions, then continue to decide the Top 20, Top 8 and Top 4. Each continental region will have a winning beauty, then compete for the Miss and 3 runner-up positions.
