Recently, Jennie (Blackpink) became the cover face for V Magazine magazine, January 2026 issue.
In an interview with the magazine, Jennie looked back at the past journey, she frankly spoke about her passion, curiosity and excitement for the new challenges ahead.
The female singer said that although she has achieved many accomplishments, she still feels like she is at the starting line: "I can't believe I still say this. I felt like that even before releasing my debut album "Ruby", but until now I still feel like a child taking her first steps into the world".
Curiosity about her own potential and the future ahead was the theme throughout the conversation. When asked about her upcoming 30th birthday, Jennie said that she personally welcomed the new milestone with excitement instead of fear.
I am looking forward to this new chapter being opened. Not because I am about to turn 30, but because I have many plans ahead. I feel like I have lived my 20s with all passion and love," the female singer confided.
Jennie describes her 20s as a period of constant dedication and work.
As a member of Blackpink, she contributed to the success of a group that sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, and made history by becoming the first Kpop girl group to top major charts in the West.
Jennie's debut solo album "Ruby" also entered the Top 10 in 19 countries, further affirming her global influence.
Despite her busy schedule, Jennie emphasized that her passion for music and theater has never changed: "I will perform in Tokyo (Japan) on my birthday night and throughout that week.

In the interview, Jennie shared deeply about the concept of "house" in her own way - a concept that goes beyond physical space.
When I look at what I have created and feel proud, when I can say "this is mine", that's the moment I think: "I'm doing well. My life is wonderful," she explained, while saying that her achievements and efforts have become a source of spiritual comfort.
Jennie also shared that the rotation between solo and group activities brings her a sense of stability and joy: "It's possible to put many different musical colors on the performance list through both solo and group stages, and then see each other's stages from a new perspective, it's really interesting. Standing together on stage again is like going home.
At the end of the interview, Jennie reflected on how she faced success and continued to shape her path: "If you ask me if I know how to face success, honestly, I'm not sure I know.
But I am proud of everything I have achieved so far. Looking back, dreaming bigger and continuing forward - that is how I live.
