Recently, American music magazine Rolling Stone announced a list of 100 Best Albums of 2025, in which Jennie's Album "Ruby" is ranked 29th - the highest ranking ever achieved by a Kpop artist.
The magazine commented that the album has a strong spirit inspired by the popular R&B pop genre in the 2000s and 2010s and has been renewed in a modern direction.
Rolling Stone compared the album to being reminiscent of an artist, it was Rihanna, because Jennie not only dominated the sweet pop-R&B but also conveyed an vague inner spirit similar to the classic song "Anti" (2016).

In 2025, Jennie was also honored by Forbes Korea as "Korean Icon of the Year", showing that her global influence is expanding.
On Spotify Wrapped 2025, Ruby is the only Kpop solo album to appear on the list of best pop albums, while the title track "like JENNIE" ranked 43rd among the most streamed songs (listen to music or watch videos online) globally - the highest achievement of a female K-pop artist of the year.
The song also ranked 62nd on Apple Music's year-end chart Top 100: Global 2025, making Jennie the first Kpop solo artist to make the list.
The album "Ruby" includes 15 songs of many genres, produced by Jennie herself, clearly reflecting nest's personality and musical vision. With this album, Jennie shows her ability to transform into diverse roles as a solo artist, while continuously setting new milestones.
Jennie is currently on a DEADLINE Blackpink World Tour with Blackpink. The group will meet audiences in Tokyo on January 16, 17 and 18, before concluding the tour with 3 shows in Hong Kong (China) on January 24-26, completing a total of 33 shows in 16 cities.
