The producer has released the first trailer for James Cameron's "Avatar" part 3, titled "Avatar: Fire and Ash".
In part 2 of "Avatar: The Way of Water" (Vietnamese title: Avatar: The Flow of Water), the director introduced the audience to the Metkayina tribe living underwater.
In part 3, pandora continues to expand the world with the appearance of a new Ash People tribe of residents living around the fire, with a courageous appearance.
Previously, "Avatar: The Flow of Water" earned 2.32 billion USD, becoming the 3rd highest-grossing film of all time.
Part 1 of the film released in 2009 holds the record for the most successful film in history with 2.92 billion USD worldwide.
In total, the first two seasons of the "Avatar" series earned 5.24 billion USD.
The audience expects the revenue of part 3 to also reach 2-3 billion USD or more.
The image of "Avatar" 3 was revealed through an introduction clip released by the director at the D23 Expo 2024 event. Among them was the image of the Ash tribe dancing around the burning fire pit. The image quality received many compliments from global audiences.
The familiar cast returning in part 3 includes Sam worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, cliff Curtis...
In addition, part 3 has two new faces, David Thewlis and Duong Tu Quynh.
"Avatar" 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19, 2025. Parts 4 and 5 are scheduled to air on December 21, 2024 and December 19, 2031, respectively.
