On April 22, Billboard announced that the title track "Like Jennie" from Jennie's (Blackpink) solo album "Ruby" returned to the Billboard Hot 100 - the chart of the most popular songs of the week in the US.
Like Jennie debuted at No. 83 when it was released in March, returning to the chart and taking No. 96 this week. According to the media, the song once again caused a stir after Jennie's 2 performances at the famous music festival Coachella 2025 in the US.
On Billboard's global charts, "like Jennie" has risen to No. 4 on the Global Excl. US (excluding the US) and 6th place on the Global 200 in the 6th week.
Jennie's first full-length album "Ruby" surpassed Nayeon (TWICE)'s debut solo mini album "Im Nayeon" to become the second longest-running album by a female K-pop solo artist on Billboard 200, behind only Blackpink member Rose's album "rosie".
In Korea, Like Jennie also had an impressive breakthrough. At 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on April 22, Jennie's song rose to No. 1 on the Melon Top 100 - Korea's top music chart, surpassing "Too Bad" by G-Dragon (Big Bang) featuring Anderson.Paak.
Although it only defeated G-Dragon in 2 hours, this shows that Like Jennie is having persistent growth in her home country. As of 2:00 p.m. on April 23 (Korean time), Like Jennie is currently ranked Top 2 Melon, Top 4 Genie, Top 4 YouTube Music, Top 1 Flo, Top 1 Bugs and Top 2 Vibe.
On the Spotify platform, Like Jennie reached a new ranking milestone, entering the Top 5 of the Spotify Daily Chart.
In addition, in the Chinese market, Jennie also set a new record. Her Like Jennie has sold over 100,000 digital tracks in China, in addition to receiving a Gold certification on the QQ Music platform in this country.
Previously, Jennie's album "Ruby" achieved a sales record of 467,000 digital copies, becoming the best-selling digital music album by a female Kpop solo artist in China.
Thus, Jennie is currently the first artist to have an album and single sell more than 100,000 digital copies in China in 2025.
