Recently, the Department of Performing Arts and the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held a working session, requesting strict handling of the situation of artists with deviant songs and offensive words in recent years.
Right after the management agency took drastic action, a series of MVs and songs containing controversial lyrics were sung by the audience.

Among them, there is a song containing a rap part by Binz and Andree that is classified as having offensive language such as: "If you like strange, I change flow. If you like high, I've enough grass", "You're an addict, I'm a stimulant...".
In Andree's case, he is among the artists who were warned by Ho Chi Minh City Police for releasing songs that encouraged the use of banned substances, violence, etc.
The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also stated that "CLME" and "Kheo" expressed by Andree are uncivilized and vulgar words...
Some other cases that the authorities pointed out as destination include: Jack (Never), Phao (Soc Chuyen Chong), rapper Gducky (mien mong mi); Bray - Dat G (Caooc 207), HIEUTHUHAI (Trinh), Andree - Binh Gold (Em iu)...

Not only the management agency, in recent years, the audience has repeatedly criticized music products that are deviant from standards and have " sexualized" content such as music products by Tling, Chi Pu, BigDaddy...
Many other MVs have been criticized for their misunderstanding and offensive product titles. Huyen Sambi's "Like a furnace" is considered a disaster for Vietnamese music. Chi Pu with "Black Hickey" was once condemned for promoting office sex, which forced the female singer to remove.
Vietnamese music on digital platforms is increasingly chaotic, in which many rap rap songs of rappers are named in the offensive list. Originating from the Underground scene, operating without rules, not commercial, rap has the characteristics of street music, promoting personal personality and also the wildness in the way many rappers write lyrics.
Talking to reporters about the story of vulgar and offensive lyrics in some music products, the founder of TGM Media - Master of Marketing at Hanoi National Economics University Le Minh Tam - commented: "The phenomenon of using substandard language in music, especially in the underground and rap world, has existed for a long time. The songs containing "affordable" content accidentally spread the "flat-flat" culture, negatively affecting young people and Gen Z".
According to expert Le Minh Tam, there should be strong measures to prevent "dirty" products with catchy, vulgar lyrics... affecting the development of both psychology and aesthetics of music of young audiences.
Most recently, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee sent an official dispatch to the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, members of the Ho Chi Minh City Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts and press agencies to propose directions and rectification of music activities with signs of cultural deviation.
