On the evening of October 11, the program "Heritage Steps" - fashion show with the theme "Vietnamese Colors - World rhythm" had the participation of the Ambassadors of many countries.
Heritage Steps not only honors the beauty of Vietnamese culture, but also expands the journey of exchanges with international friends. This year, the program brings together 19 traditional and contemporary fashion collections from 19 countries around the world - each collection is a cultural story, a unique color in the multi-odyne, multi-colored picture of humanity.
Through the language of fashion, cultures will meet, dialogue and spread the spirit of friendship, expressing the aspiration for a connected world - where heritage is continued and shines with the breath of today's era.
The special highlight of the show was the appearance of ambassadors from other countries in Vietnam in traditional ao dai from the "Heritage in Hanoi" ao dai collection by designer Anh Thu. The wives of the US, Japanese, Ukrainian and Czech Ambassadors strolled together on the catwalk. The special performance of the 4 ladies carries the message of international exchange.
Ms. Suzuko Knapper - the wife of the American Ambassador - brings the majestic Grand Canyon (Arizona, USA), a symbol of the nature and heritage of the United States.

Ms. Iryna Gaman - wife of the Ukrainian Ambassador - brought the sacred tree motifs, a symbol of the connection between generations and human values.

Ms. Indira Gumarova - wife of the Czech Republic Ambassador - performed a ao dai with garnet Bohemia, combining traditional jewelry and Vietnamese art.
Ms. Yuki Ito - wife of the Japanese Ambassador - wore a traditional obi ao dai design, combining the quintessence of kimono and the beauty of Vietnam.
In addition to the costumes made specifically for the ambassador ladies, designer Anh Thu also introduced ao dai models inspired by the music of musician Trinh Cong Son with Bat Trang pottery motifs, conical hats, lotus flowers...
Each design is a cultural cut, a message of friendship, understanding and the desire for peace between countries.
