Actor Do Nhat Hoang plays Cuong in the film "Red Rain".
Nhat Hoang and many young actors play the role of soldiers of squadron 1, together fighting to overcome the fierce battle in Quang Tri ancient citadel.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Do Nhat Hoang talked about what he was haunted by while filming the film: "I was haunted by the loss a lot. The brothers have been together since the early days, sharing every meal, sleep, every story, so when someone is no longer present on set, I feel an empty space and miss them so much. The scene that haunted me the most was near the end of the film, when the character had to face the sacrifice of his teammates.
At that moment, I cried a lot. Not because of the demanding script, but because I really miss my teammates, really feel the space they leave. At that time, I kept thinking about the days together in the rain, eating quick in the sun, laughing between tiring practice hours... And when the director shouted "cut", I still couldn't get out immediately, still haunted by that feeling of loss for many days. That is my tear, not just the character's."
The 9X actor confided that to transform into a soldier fighting to protect the Fatherland, he listened to the stories of veterans for hours, read each page of memories, and tried to put himself in their position - imagine what I would think if tomorrow there were no more, what I would convey.

Do Nhat Hoang was born in 1997 and was a dancer in the Dancing with the Stars dance troupe. He has a masculine appearance and a tall figure.
In 2022, he received attention when he participated in the program "Who is that person". He appeared in the movie "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story" and switched to acting.
Talking about the opportunity to appear in 2 movies, "Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story" and "Red Rain", Do Nhat Hoang said that he was lucky to be given valuable opportunities, lucky to meet wonderful colleagues...
"But if I had been lucky and didn't try, I probably wouldn't have gone far. I really love this job and want to give my all.
Every time I get to go on set, I feel very happy, as if I am living in the right place, in the right job. I am grateful to be an actor, to be able to do what I love every day," the actor said.
