Chinese actor Vu Mong Lung passed away on September 11 due to a fall from a high floor after being drunk.
On September 21, Beijing police officially announced that, through a crime scene investigation, forensic examination, taking statements and extracting surveillance cameras, they had ruled out a criminal case.
Accounts spreading fabricated news such as "Vu Mong Lung was trapped, assaulted, and abused before jumping into the building", "Vu Mong Lung was pushed down from the window" or "Vu Mong Lung's mother was controlled" were handled according to the law.
However, according to Star EBC, after 1 month since the incident, social networks are continuing to spread new information that has caused public confusion.
In a published CCTV footage, the man believed to be Vu Mong Lung was dragged around the floor by another person. According to the poster, this is evidence that the actor was abused before he died.
Immediately afterwards, an autopsy report allegedly by Vu Mong Lung leaked on forums. In a report with information conducted by the Beijing Forensic Center, the late actor suffered many serious injuries when he died.
The victim suffered multiple injuries: scalp showing signs of jerkiness, most of the lower teeth were broken or missing, the bridge of the nose was broken, there was blood in the ear canal, a traumatic brain injury, many broken left ribs, heart overflow, cardiac arrest, liver rupture and genital damage.
According to some forensic experts, if the content of the autopsy report is spreading as true, these serious injuries are not simply due to falling from a high floor, but the victim is likely to have been abused and tortured.
However, this CCTV footage and autopsy report are also widely doubted. Some analysts said that in the video, the man being dragged with crystal showed no signs of panic, the reaction of the people in the room was as if they were participating in a horror costume game.
Netizens also believe that the autopsy report is fake. Because the content of the report has many similarities in pronunciation, structure, and wording with a forensic report from 2012 that was widely circulated.

Recently, Pham The Ky announced the cancellation of a concert in Chengdu due to health reasons, which has made him even more criticized and questioned. The actor denied that he caused Vu Mong Lung's death and announced that he would collect evidence to handle accounts with insulting and cyber violence.
