In the movie "Siren's Kiss" broadcast 2 episodes/week on tvN channel, actress Park Min Young plays Han Seol Ah - an art auctioneer hiding secrets. Park Min Young's character gradually becomes a suspect in a series of murders related to insurance after her ex-lovers died one after another. This development leads to the investigation of Cha Woo Seok, an insurance investigator played by Wi Ha Joon.
To fully immerse herself in the role, Park Min Young not only lost weight but also changed her daily habits. During filming, she maintained the habit of drinking more than 3 liters of water/day. According to the crew, this choice is to realistically recreate the context of the character Han Seol Ah living day by day with whiskey and water, almost without proper meals.
Park Min Young's careful preparation helps Han Seol Ah make a strong impression right from the first scenes. For example, the scene where Han Seol Ah uses a sculpting knife to trim a wooden bird with unusual expressions, while blood flows down from her hand. Immediately after that, she continues to surprise the audience when she tears apart a painting identified as fake. Notably, the wooden sculpture scene - a detail that highlights Han Seol Ah's mystery - was performed by Park Min Young herself, instead of using a stuntman.

Not only attracting attention with her actions, Han Seol Ah is also portrayed by Park Min Young with subtle facial expressions, sometimes sad, sometimes chillingly cold. In a situation of being investigated after a fatal accident at Royal Auction, the character initially maintains a calm look, but quickly reveals instability through a trembled breath. When facing the incomplete questions from Cha Woo Seok, Han Seol Ah suddenly falters and immediately turns to a hostile look.
With her new role, Park Min Young continues to show seriousness and discipline in character preparation, from appearance to psychological rhythm. "Siren's Kiss" is currently broadcast at 8:50 PM every Monday and Tuesday on tvN.
