According to Korean media, the movie "My Royal Nemesis" (tentatively translated: Royal Enemy) has risen to number 1 on Netflix's global weekly best-selling non-English TV show chart, right in its first week of broadcasting. The ranking was released by the Netflix platform on May 13th, summarizing the views and viewing hours of non-English TV shows in the week from October 4th to May 10th. "My Royal Nemesis" aired on May 8th and took only 3 days to climb to number 1, with 3.9 million views.
This is also the first time in the history of SBS Korean weekend dramas that a work has topped Netflix's global charts in its first week of broadcasting.

My Royal Nemesis" is a romantic comedy about unknown actress Shin Seo Ri (played by Lim Ji Yeon) being possessed by a notorious evil woman from the Joseon era, along with the confrontation with the cruel tycoon heir Cha Se Gye (Heo Nam Jun) - who is likened to a "monster created by capitalism".
