Recently, in an interview with Vogue Korea, Rose (Blackpink) shared about the 2 soundtrack projects in which she participated.
Last year, the lead singer of Blackpink surprised everyone when he performed a soundtrack for Apple TV0, Lee Min Ho, featured in the drama Pachinko 2.
In her first attempt at a new role, Rose was asked to cover the song "Viva La Vida" by British rock band Coldplay.
The singer shared: Pachinko is my first soundtrack project, so I was a bit worried. But when I heard that I would cover Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", I immediately accepted.
I didn't really think about how the song would be used or what it would mean for my career, but just thought it would be very interesting and accepted the challenge."
For the second time, Rose directly participated in composing and performing her own soundtrack, with the song Messy for the movie F1 - starring actor Brad Pitt and one of the film producers.
Rose confessed: At first, I was quite skeptical about the invitation to participate in F1. It seemed like a big project, so I asked the production team: "Shouldn't there be other bright candidates besides me? , and they replied, "No, we definitely want Rose to participate."
Luckily, everyone likes the song I composed, and I am very happy that my voice contributed to conveying emotions for the film. Through this collaboration, I realized that composing soundtracks is also a very interesting job.
The MV of the song "Messy" was invested in grandly, when an iconic section of the Las Vegas Avenue (USA) was closed during rush hour, midnight on Saturday, to give Rose space to film the MV.

The singer said she was absolutely nervous and worried when standing alone on the Las Vegas Boulevard.
"I tried my best to complete the filming smoothly and professionally without falling in front of many people. I remember telling myself that this was an opportunity that would not come again, so please remember this special moment, Rose shared.
