The Korea Institute for Business Research has just released the brand reputation ranking for August 2024 for male idol groups Kpop.
The ranking was determined through an analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community index of various male idol groups, using large data collected from July 10 to August 10.
Seventeen rose to the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 5,988,919 points, marking a 31.32% increase in the group's points since July.
The high-ranking keywords in the keyword analysis include "CARAT", "unit" and "world tour", while the high-ranking terms include "release", “reclaim" and “donation". Seventeen's positive-negative analysis also showed 90.94% of the reaction points were positive.
BTS dropped to the 2nd place of the August ranking, with a brand reputation index of 4,980,992 points.
Stray Kids rose to the 3rd position after witnessing an impressive 132.86% increase in the brand reputation index compared to July, raising the group's total points to 3,136,650 points.
ENHYPEN rose to the 4th position with a brand reputation index of 2,973,333 points, marking a 30.59% increase compared to the previous month.
Finally, TWS entered the Top 5 with a brand reputation index of 2,741,433 points, increasing 29.24% since July.
