According to Korean media, Song Joong Ki will appear as a guest on the second episode of JTBC's variety show "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" today (November 9). The episode featuring the "Vincenzo" actor is scheduled to air on December 29.
This is the first time Song Joong Ki has appeared on a Korean variety show in nearly 9 years.
Aside from brief appearances in interviews, Song Joong Ki's last official variety show appearance was in January 2016, on the SBS "Running Man" special, filmed in Shanghai, China, with fellow guest soccer player Park Ji Sung.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the stories that Song Joong Ki will share in “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” especially his married life and journey to becoming a father of two children.
After divorcing Song Hye Kyo, Song Joong Ki remarried British actress Katy Louise Saunders in early 2023. The two welcomed their first son in June 2023 and recently their second daughter in November 2024.
“Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” originally titled “Take Care of My Fridge,” aired from 2014 to 2019, and gained a lot of attention for sparking the “chef-tainer” trend in Korea. The show’s unique concept was to deliver the contents of guests’ refrigerators to the studio, where chefs would prepare dishes in just 15 minutes.
Returning for its 10th anniversary, the new version of “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” will premiere its first episode on December 15, 2024.
