At around 7:30 p.m. on December 15, on Tan Ly bridge, La Gi town, Binh Thuan, an accident occurred between a 4-seat car with license plate 72A - 615.37 and 3 motorbikes.
At the scene, two motorbikes were smashed and lying in front of this car; another motorbike was also smashed and lying a distance from the back of the car.
Passersby shouted that a young man had been thrown over the bridge and into the Dinh River after the crash. People used a basket boat to row out to the middle of the river to search for him.
According to local residents, the victim fell near the foot of the bridge, the water was not deep so the young man was quickly discovered and rescued, brought to shore. An ambulance took the victim to La Gi Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Other motorcyclists who were hit in the accident were also taken by taxi to La Gi Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment. At the hospital's emergency room, 5 people were recorded to have been injured in the accident and were taken to the emergency room.
The Investigation Police Agency of La Gi Town Police, Binh Thuan Province urgently arrived at the scene to investigate the accident.
